Usage

Used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food industries as a broad-spectrum preservative and antimicrobial agent, effective against molds, yeasts and bacteria. Widely used in creams, lotions, personal care products and topical formulations to extend shelf life and maintain storage stability. Often combined with other parabens (methyl, propyl, butyl) for enhanced preservation. Recommended dosage: 0.2%–0.5%, applicable pH range 4–8.
