Usage

Acid Blue 9 is a triphenylmethane food colorant widely used in food, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. In the food industry used for blue coloring of beverages, candies, ice cream and baked goods, often blended with yellow colorants to produce green. In pharmaceuticals used as a capsule and tablet coating colorant. In cosmetics for personal care and makeup coloring. In biological laboratories used as a gel electrophoresis tracking dye and tissue stain. In industrial applications used for coloring inks, paper and leather. This product corresponds to Chinese national standard GB 7655.1 (Food Additive — Brilliant Blue).
